Spice Tour

The history of Zanzibar would be incomplete without the cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper and many other spices which brought the Sultans of Oman and the beginnings of the infamous slave trade. They can be seen in the plantations just outside Zanzibar town, and a good tour includes opportunities to dazzle the senses with fresh spices. Safari Blue

Safari Blue has been running great days out in Zanzibar since 1996. Safari Blue starts from Fumba village, south west of Stone Town. Fumba is the most convenient location for exploring the wildlife, isolated sandbanks and rugged island scenery of the Menai Bay Conservation Area. “Safari Blue is not just a day out on a traditional sailing dhow with good food. Dolphin Tour

This is Full Day Tour, the main Attraction being able to swim close to the dolphin, actually its swimming with the Dolphin. Being very social themselves, if you are luck you even get to play with them. Situated on the southern point of the island, Kizimkazi fishing village is home to several schools of bottle-nosed dolphins and Humpback dolphins, which are sighted following a short boat trip from the village. Kizimkazi is also the site of a 12th century mosque, the earliest evidence of Islam in East Africa, and is thus worth a visit for both natural and cultural reasons. The trip includes transport from either Stone Town or Hotel in the East or North Coast, guide, boat, snorkeling equipment and lunch.

Jozani Forest

The Jozani Natural Forest Reserve is located in the central east region of Zanzibar island and is home to the rare Red Colobus Monkey (pictured opposite), which is endemic to Zanzibar. These monkeys are full of character, and roam freely. They can also be seen at very close quarters just outside the reserve's perimeter and are incredibly photogenic. Jozani is home to other species including syke's monkey's, small buck and bush pigs. The elusive Zanzibar leopard (last sited several years ago) is said to feed here at night - perhaps this is why the reserve is only open during the day?! Jozani has an excellent nature trail and the guides are well trained and informative.

North Coast

This is a full day leisure guided tour that takes you to Nungwi Village via Mvuleni Portuguese House where you can visit the Ruins of the Portuguese Barracks. At Nungwi you find white sandy beaches which is very conductive for swiming and beach relax. You will also visit aquirium and a place where traditional Dhows are built. Lunch is to be servied in one of the hotel. It is endowed with fantastic white sandy beaches which stretch for miles, coupled with beautiful coral reefs ideal for diving and snorkeling. The villagers have also built a sanctuary which is used for nursing turtles and other injured marine animals back to health before they are released back into their natural habitat of the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.

Stone Town

The town is rich with a mixed history of the Persians (Shirazis), The Portuguese, The Arabs, The Germans, The British, The Indians, and of course the indigenous Africans. It also has the history of being the centre of trade in East Africa with slavery and ivory trades taking the leading role. The Arab Sultans who dominated the Islands in the 19th and early 20th centuries have left their marks in the culture, religion, architecture, mode of dressing and language of the people of Zanzibar, marks which are most visible in the Stone Town. The whole area of the Stone Town which covers the Ras Shangani Peninsula west of the town has a lot to offer and a walking tour is the best way to explore this mystic and majestic old town.

Prison Island

A relaxing day in Zanzibar Channel of the Indian Ocean is achieved when we visit the small isle off the Western Coast of Zanzibar. This half day guided tour begins and ends at your hotel. This historical Island was formerly owned by an Arab and used for the confinement of refractory slaves. It was bought by General Mathews and the jail (goal) which still stands was built in 1893 and hence the name "PRISON ISLAND" One time it was infectors quarantine station for East African Territory. Today Prison Island is one of the Tourist Resort . There is new Constructing Hotel and also bar and restaurant which serves Tourist, At the Prison Island you will see GIANT TORTOISES, and be able to swim, sunbathe and snorkel.
